It has been a challenging few months for bars in Pattaya. We first noticed the decline in June, with the total number of bins down by around 30% overall.
Interestingly, central Pattaya and the Darkside saw the biggest drop, while Jomtien actually improved slightly.
The Darkside was always considered a hedge against low season because of the expat community living there. However, Jomtien has developed so much that it now feels like the new high street, where people go to once or twice a week. It has captured much of the market that used to drink locally on the Darkside or head into central Pattaya.
Last month we started to see signs of recovery. Things aren’t fully back to normal yet, but there’s been a clear improvement. The past two weeks especially have felt noticeably busier, with more people traveling in and more customers coming into the bars. The numbers confirm what we’ve been feeling that business is picking up again.
Maggie Mays Beer Garden Update
The countdown is on! Our brand-new Maggie Mays Beer Garden is taking shape and will officially open with a Grand Opening Party on November 1st.
This new complex brings together 10 bars under one roof, each with its own unique style and atmosphere. It was 12 but a couple of bars have become double units.
Every bar is air conditioned, has is own audio bubble to prevent music wars and the toilets are free!
Key Updates
Almost all bar designs are finalised: We have worked with every owner to create something fun and unique.
Big and Mighty: One of the front bars will be an all-new concept. A bold hybrid of Gogo bar and gents club in a beer bar complex.
Gormley glass throughout: Usually found in 6* hotels. This will be showcased best by the new GLOW bar which will look like it belongs in the movie TRON.
Sports Bars: A couple of new bars dedicated to showing all the best live sports so you never miss the action. Surrounded by hot hostesses.
Girly Bars: Many new girly bars with pool tables and poles. There is a plan to get to over 200 ladies in the complex.
Comfort: The bars are so spacious that many have opted for some sofa seating.
Food: We have Bunny'z Pizza opening in the corner
Beer Pong: Maggie Mays bar is switching out the pool table for drinking games
Grand Opening: November 1st – save the date and get ready to celebrate in true Maggie Mays style.
Bars will begin moving their equipment in from the 15th of this month. Then recruitment begins and we'll be ready for the grand opening on November 1st.
We hope many of you will come and have a look even if beer bar complexes aren't your thing. It will be so radically different to most beer gardens that you may like it.

🎄 Christmas 2025 at GentsClubs
Maybe we are a bit early to announce all this but we keep getting asked what our plans are for the end of the year.
Christmas Day is set to be our biggest party ever and this time we’re going all out across two venues:
Maggie Mays Darkside - Christmas Dinner will be served in a more relaxed festive setting. Perfect for those who want their holiday with turkey, trimmings, and plenty of cheer.
Maggie Mays Resort - The wet & wild side of Christmas. Expect poolside mischief, festive cocktails, and a high-energy party like no other.
With the girls from our other clubs (Maggie Mays Pattaya, Maggie Mays Jomtien, Free Willy, The Camel Toe, and CatFlaps) all joining in, we’re expecting loads of girls at each location, so wherever you end up, it’s going to be packed with festive fun.
This is not an event where we ask ladies to turn up and hope they do. The girls will continue their 10 day contracts so will certainly be there. We predict over 100 ladies at each location but maybe more.
Free Pussy Wagon Transport - We’ll be running our Pussy Wagons between Maggie Mays Darkside and Maggie Mays Resort all day and night, so guests can easily move between the two parties without missing a thing.

Pool Party – Maggie Mays Resort
The next Pool Party splashes down on Saturday, October 4th at Maggie Mays Resort. Expect a great BBQ, wet-tshirt and limbo contests, cocktails, inflatables, and wall-to-wall mischief. This is one of our flagship parties, so make sure you don’t miss it.
Halloween Havoc – Maggie Mays Darkside
Halloween in Pattaya is huge — almost every bar in town throws one. Rather than overdoing it across all of our venues, we’ve chosen to make Maggie Mays Darkside the home of our official Halloween Party.
Spooky music, sexy ghouls, and ghastly shots set the tone on Friday, October 31st. If you only do one Halloween night this year, make it this one.
